Tulsa Gun Show

Just a note to see who is going to the Wannenmacher Gun Show in Tulsa and to ask what are you looking for? I am eager to attend. I'm looking for a Rem 870 Wingmaster .410 or maybe a BPS .410. And I am always on the lookout for a Browning HighPower 9mm. Ammo deals too if I can find them. I'll be the guy wearing a t-shirt that says "Squirrel--It's what's for dinner" or my other one that says "Doggone" with pics of p-dogs. Squirrels and p-dogs are my favorite targets. See ya at the guns show. If you see me, stop and say hi. Always like knowing more gun people.

Looking for the same thing I always shop for.

I always try and find bargains on SA/DA revolvers in .22 LR.

A few years back I found a 2" Charter Arms .22 Pathfinder,,,
This gun looked like it had been in a fight with a rock,,,
It was literally covered in scratches to the surface.

It was also filthy and the cylinder would barely turn,,,
But as far as I could tell everything locked into place well enough.

I got it for $150.00 out the door.

After I soaked the entire gun in a bath of mineral spirits,,,
And scrubbed all of the hardened oil out of it,,,
The little gun was tight and shot well.

One afternoon watching movies I polished on it for a few hours,,,
That little pistol became a fine shooter and looked just fine.

It became a birthday present for a good friend of mine,,,
I made her a gunbelt and holster for it,,,
She shoots it all the time now.

So look for the tall old phart,,,
Wearing a hat with a "Looking for .22 revolvers" sign on it.

I have two young friends who are graduating from Ok State University this May,,,
I need to find two .22 handguns I can use as graduation gifts for them.

I remember going to a gun show right after he won the last election,,,
You could see where the dealers had crossed out old prices,,,
And written the new prices on the same tag.

You would have thought they would at least use new tags.

I saw Bricks of cheap .22 marked up from $14.95 to $29.95 or more,,,
The people on the PA were whipping the people into a frenzy,,,
"Buy now before Obama bans everything!"

I surely hope that doesn't even get the chance to occur,,,
I've voted so all I can do now is wait for the morning's results.

I'd love to go but work calls. I plan on retiring next year and maybe I'll get a chance to go then.

One thing that I'm looking for is a 7rd. factory .32 ACP magazine for a French Unique Model 16.
