Went to the Tulsa show this past weekend and wanted to share the experience. The good news: All 3 of my buddies found a gun they liked for decent money, all antiques. I found the best Winchester Model 12 in 20 ga with a solid rib that I have seen in years. While I was wandering around trying to decide, someone smarter than I am bought it. So I guess the news isn't all good. Their was plenty of ammo, mostly over priced, but lots of it. One vendor had lots of .22LR and as I was leaving toward the end of the second day, he still had lots. So, I hope that means that people are leaving it on the shelf. Past shows have had no .22LR ammo. Saw one guy buy 4 boxes of bulk .22LR in 325 round boxes for $40 each. As long as people pay that ridiculous price, it will remain high. I bought some powder for myself and friends. Found Benchmark for $26 so bought several pounds. Some vendors had cases and cases of primers, mostly pistol. But, in the past, I couldn't find any. I am hoping this is a harbinger of things to come. All in all, it was a fine show that took until this morning for me to rest up from walking miles and miles on concrete.
