This great show is just around the corner. If 11 acres of 3600 tables is your kind of show, you'll want to make plans for attending this event. It is scheduled for 21 and 22 October. I've been to others including one down at the Astro Dome but nothing compares with the one in Tulsa. Thanks

I attended the last one, which was the first Wanenmacher's show I ever attended. It's different.

First, I had to park like, two counties away and ride a gun show shuttle.

Then, in the show, I saw more guns than I had ever seen before. I mean, they had some junk tables, (jerky & tshirts), but mostly it was guns.

After I had been walking for about three to four hours, I was glad to see the last row of tables. Only when I got to the last row of tables, I discovered there was a whole second floor of tables.

I went home. I had never been beaten by a gun show before.

I can't wait.

What I really like about the Tulsa show is that it is just that -- a gun show. Of course you have dealers selling new stuff, but you also have tables and tables of collector exhibits -- Old West Winchesters and Colts, Civil War weapons, etc. It's GREAT!:D :D :D

Wife and I went in April - one heck of a big show!!! Met Larry Ashcraft and sm - so a good social trip too. The scale of it has to be seen to be believed!

I did weaken and came back having bought a nice M29-3 - so I felt pleased at that!

This pic below is lower level only - there is way more up on higher level. To those that go enjoy - and I hope somehow you manage to stay cool - cos even in April it was 80º outside and way hotter inside!! BTW - don't try and take pic's as I did - it is not relished - folks might think you are snooping for BATFE!!!

Deals?

I bought an early version Remington 1100 .28 gauge unfired there last year for 750.00. I thought that was an excellent deal. It looks great next to the .410. Thanks

P95 - that was a really bad one-time deal. The Expo center was undergoing serious renovation at that time, and the HVAC system was being replaced. The contractor missed his deadline to get it up and running for the April Wanenmacher show - needless to say, he got an ear full from Expo management, who in turn had been thoroughly chewed by the Wanenmachers and their staff.

I doubt it will be hot inside again...;)
