Tumbler takeover

Sni-per,

I think some folks missed your humor initially so I dropped a big smiley in the to help folks realize you aren't some misogynist.

I'd be concerned that the tumbler would damage the jewelry over time since it is so easy to clean using one that jewelry would be going in frequently and eroded by the abrasive. Then there's the small lead issue.

That won't happen with an ultrasonic cleaner and it has many uses like your tumbler and can be used to clean guns and gun parts. Be sure to use water based ultrasonic cleaning solution that has a corrosion inhibitor and change it often if you use it on brass or bullets. One with enough power to also drive an oil bath makes for a great way to clean firearms and protect firearms.

I know that the ultrasonic cleaners work well for jewelry.
I do not use them for brass just because I'm already set up with my vibrating cleaners which works very well for me and my needs.

The only thing I'd say was a slight set back with the ultrasonic cleaners is that they don't clean a bunch of brass at a time without going to the very expensive ones.
Plus I would not want to clean jewelry in a vibrating cleaner that brass has been cleaned in because of all the toxic chemicals in it that may be transferred to sensitive skin.

AND....All the vibrating may harm the jewelry. It does vibrate on the plastic sides at times and may bend or loosen things????
I've thrown knife blades and misc tools in it, but they can't get damaged easily.

A cheap ultrasonic cleaner may be a good investment for you.
I have been tempted to buy one for general small item cleaning, but just have not "pulled the trigger" yet. :)

Sometimes a little knowledge of how your using your reloading tools and some of the dangers helps. My wife is versed in the basics and this has helped when I need to buy "More Stuff"....:D
