What are these ball detents everyone is talking about? I don't see that listed on the parts diagram and I am not very mechanically inclined-TaterHead

Is that the part that connects to the turret when you put it in, to spin it. Well, the contact point that helps it to spin?

Take the turret plate off with the dies. On the inside edge where the turret snaps in is a little roller bearing "nipple" thingy. It holds the turret in when it revolves around.

Gotcha, mine is a little square nut...if I'm looking at what Im supposed to be looking at.

The ball detent isn't a separate part. It's built into the turret ring. It's the little ball sticking out of the inner raceway near the upper left mounting hole here: http://leeprecision.com/4-turret-ring.html

It pops into matching holes on the turret to index them in the proper orientation for each die station as the turret turns from one station to the next.

Thanks guys. This press is beautiful if you ask me. I spend a lot of time just sitting and admiring it. Great engineering I say.
