Have had my Umarex Colt Peacemaker for some time now, and loving it. The grip is a tad long in perspective, being an 1860 Army length rather than the proper 1851 Navy style, but the CO2 cylinder requires the extra length, and it fits my big hand well. Though this smoothbore is supposed to use standard BBs, I find that lead BBs are very tight shooting and have good 'authority' when they hit the target. Works great with my pellet trap indoors. The overall finish is excellent, being the nickeled version with faux-ivory grips - an off-white instead of incorrect pure white. Beautiful gun. I give it 9 out of 10 for accuracy in overall design and feel. Bought four sets of spare brass cartridge cases too, which the BBs are loaded into. Just need the belt and holster now.

Second pistol is the Gletcher NGT-R clone of the Russian Nagant revolver. Pretty nice, and I give it 8 of 10 for accuracy to the original. Also uses CO2 in the grip, but the grips are proper size. It has the rifled barrel, and uses pellets. There are also BB versions in both blued and nickel finish, mine is the blued. It uses seven brass cases to hold the .177 pellets. It has a very light 'gas sealing' action, but barely perceptible, unlike the obvious action of the real PB gun. Weight and feel are very accurate. Trigger pull is a bit better than my Russian Nagant - no surprise. After shooting four cylinder loads, accuracy is improving. First group was larger than expected, but I think it is my unfamiliarity and my eyes. At the distance I am shooting indoors, it's too far for my reading glasses and too close for my regular glasses. Hard to get a good clear sight picture, and I will not shoot without eye protection! Need to find my clear shooting glasses. It shows good promise. Last group had five shots in a tight clover, with two shots opening the group a bit, high and low.
I need to try various pellets to see what it really prefers.

Both these pistols are well worth the money, in my opinion, for fun shooting with reasonably accurate clones of real handguns.

BigDog57,
Thank you, especially, for the Gletcher\Nagant pellet revolver mini review. I had almost decided to buy the BB version of this revolver in blue when I saw that there were also pellet versions. I'm looking forward to trying it for accuracy against my old Crosman ( also a CO2 pellet revolver ) There are nice Nagant holsters on Ebay and Amazon that this revolver would look great in! Priced very nicely as well.
regards,
