Hey Mike,

Congrats on the fine pair of 21s. I have had a first gen G21, with the smooth grips, for a long while. It is my primary house gun, which says something about my thoughts on reliability and accuracy.

I recommend you try a variety of ammo. They all feed in my experience. My history shows that 230gr HP are a favorite.

Get us a range report! Do you ever get up to Northern VA?

In all seriousness............. I prefer to learn one type of firearm until it is ingrained into my soul. My primary carry handguns are G19s and G21s. I am very proficient with them and don't have to think when I have to put them into action. My SHTF rifles are three AK-103s which are identical too. Anyways....I have fired both G21s and they are extremely accurate handguns. 100% reliable out of the box. I was shooting at an old dead tree in the backyard and I loved how the big chunks of wood would go flying when the 230 grain FMJs hit the tree. Recoil wasn't much either.............
