I resisted them for many years. I finally got one a year ago or so, and suddenly understood all the "hype." I got a used -6, and I don't know if it's been fluffed and buffed on or what, but it is something else. The 4” 69 has been on my radar for a while.I do like my 686+. Yeah, it has the “bad” parts and “evil” lock built in, but it shoots like a dream for me and that 7th shot is a nice bonus.
It got scratched up a bit on duty while riding in a drop-swivel holster for a while, so I had it bead blasted for an even matte finish.
