They were recommended by the guy who does McBride's website, although I haven't talked to David at Alpine yet.

Carter's Country was also recommended.

Obviously there's no shortage of TX gun shops. It's just finding the good ones that takes time.

DonNikmare, what about Alpine's range rules bother you?

Well, it's been about 2 years since I last shot there but let's see...

-No rapid fire...must have 2 seconds between each shot. I shoot slow fire over 95 % of the time but occasionally do like to see how close I can get a double tap's two holes.

-No jacketed rifle ammo, just lead.
