This really is a bad thing because now the someone is going to believe their .223 good for Elk.

The mental level here is astonishing (Low). Someone is going to pay what $800.00 or more for an Elk tag and have to wait in a lottery to get his tags and then use a 223 for the hunt, give me a brake. Maybe the question should be can you take an Elk with a 223, if your close enough and shot it through the head. Maybe you should ask, why do people Elk hunt with a bow and arrow and kill them, shouldn't that be an impossibility? Well it isn't it is done quite often.

Maybe you all should go back to the range and practice your marksmanship so you can take your evil black rifles on a Elk hunt. just don't all do it at the same time or there won't be enough Elk for me to shoot with my 243.
