There's a post on CZforum... that I can't make heads or tails of! :fire:

I'm considering trading in some of my less-used 9mm's for a TZ-75. Well, more like consolidate, I've got to many 9mm's. So getting rid of two or three for one good one is something I'm willing to do.

But I wouldn't buy the TZ-75 if CZ magazines won't fit. Where would I find them? Also, would CZ75/75b grips fit the TZ? What about the sights?

Anyone here got anything?

The Tanfoglio guns are close, but not exact copies of the CZ guns.

Magazines usually don't interchange, aftermarket grips usually do.
The current importer of the Tanfoglio guns is European American Armory, (EAA). They sell magazines and most parts for the older Tanfoglio guns.
Note that current EAA Witness guns are built on a larger universal frame, but many parts still interchange with older guns.

Sights probably interchange.

I have an older TZ-75 (I would have to check the manufacture date, but I believe it is from the late 80's or early 90's). I put standard CZ Hogue grips on it, and I bought MecGar mags for a CZ75 for it. I had to dremel a little notch in the follower on the mags to get the slide to lock back (basically used the original mag with the TZ as a guide for the follower).
