There are many people are detained at airports for 3 hours of questioning, led away in handcuffs, or simply denied flying with no means for fixing the mistake for future flights. People who use the freedom of information act to request this information from the FBI usually get a "no records" response. I don't think anyone can be blind to the possibility of abuse of a government system that impacts your travel and has no accountability.

All of the Muslims I know, and that's a fair number of people have been condemning terrorism by Muslims for longer than it's been on your radar. And they did it even more loudly after September 2001. How often do they have to take loyalty oaths before your need to lash out at people who don't look like you will be satisfied? For that matter, how many Arabs and how many Muslims do you think we should kill before the scales are balanced? If you say "There can never be enough!" then congratulations, you have made the jihadis' point for them.
Ban all Arabs, even Christian ones, from America? Are you sane? Are you rational? Many of them came here specifically to escape oppression at the hands of Muslims.
Get rid of all Muslims? The not-terribly-fun-damentalists hate moderate Muslims, Sufis and anyone who isn't their particular brand of Shiite or Sunni (depending on which flavor) salafist more than they hate you. You're just an infidel. You can be converted. The others are apostates and have to be killed.
Getting a tad more personal, what do you intend to do about my wife? She's been American from the day she was born. She's a dyed in the wool card carrying liberal Democrat. She was a union organizer. She accepted Islam some time ago. She's every bit as American as you, maybe more so because she judges people on the basis of what they do rather than practicing wholesale discrimination based on "race, color, creed and place of national origin." Heck, my friend Mushtaq is even more American than you seeing as his ancestors got here about 20,000 years before the Mayflower. Are you going to send him back where he came from?

I believe in this statement in the literal sense, and without exception, regardless of circumstance.
I think once your liberty is secured, safety follows naturally. Specifically, the liberty to always be armed. If there are no "victims", there can be no crime.
If all law abiding citizens were ALWAYS armed regardless of location, crime and terrorism would be in the ground shortly. Airport security provides a glowing example as to why gun control dose not work. Everyone is disarmed except the terrorists. I always hate flying commercial, it reminds me of a miniature police state.
This is what we should of heard in the news on September 11th.

-A concealed carrying passenger/pilot/air marshal, promptly double tapped the would-be terrorist
-End of story

To the mod that removed my polite but non PC posts, please keep an even hand to everyone on the board, not just those you agree with.
I was mistaken when I assumed that HR was a non PC forum interested in discussing the truth, not burying it.
