Has Uberti, Taylor, Cimarron ever made a single action in a Bisley grip? I have never liked the plow handles of the single actions.
I’ve never owned a Uberti but I’ve always admired the fit and finish of them.

I’m thinking about getting one in 44 magnum with adjustable sights. Are they made well enough to hold up to years of use in that caliber? Have any of you owned one?

And yes I know about the Ruger Bisley but if I’m going to spend $900 on a new one I’m going to go ahead and get a S&W with a great trigger. Thanks.

Yes, continuously, for decades. No .44Mag's though, not applicable to the SAA platform. The Callahan is similar in size but has an 1860 Army grip.

The Ruger Bisley is 10x the gun a new S&W is.

Has anyone ever ground off the rear of the grip frame of a single action to make it more of a Bisley grip?
I one time made a S&W square butt into a round butt. It turned out rather nice.
