Although it is true that Winston S. Churchill did manage to save his country at a time when it seemed doomed, . . .
IIRC, the ungrateful Limeys turned him out to pasture as soon as the last echoes of Nazi bombs dropped during the Blitz faded . . .

I've met a few former Brits who've moved to the States and, for what it's worth, they have LESS admiration for Britain (for numerous reasons besided RKBA) than most THR posters do.
I'm sure I have seen dozens of posts on THR complaining about similar nonsense in the States from the TSA.
Sadly true. :(

Probably because they recognized how bad a peacetime leader he would be, though admittedly he was better than Eden.

Which is sadly true, though its not really an indicator of anything.

Uk stupid security laws/fashion police...

I saw the "gun" shirt pic. The shirt does not look like a threat or any kind of terrorist weapon.

This item is so retarded! The airport cops should get in trouble for it.

I did see a cab driver wearing a white t-shirt with a horizonal shoulder hoster/gun on it.

He may think it looks "cool" or could deter a armed robber, until the thug pulls out a real gun! :uhoh:

I can see a BG getting into the cab and seeing the t-shirt...

"That's not a gun.

THIS is a gun"

With apologies to Crocodile Dundee :D
