I will stick with my Sig 226 It is issued to British SAS as well as Navy Seals.
(Navy Seals Have a number of approved pistols, the 226 is one of them.)

1911, browning hi power and a beretta 92.choose from them, all the rest are jonny come lately junk.im sure your polymer this or that is a fine weapon. im positive it is.they work fine.now.but in a hundred years you will still see these same 3 pistols.the 1911, the hi power and the beretta will be the colts peacemaker of the future.

Glock 20 with the following extras:
- extended base mag (19rd capacity)
- Tactical length slide and barrel (5.15 in)
- Trijicon RMR mounted in a Lone Wolf "combat cut" with tritium suppressor height sights.
- Streamlight TLR2 Light/laser combo.

This gives you nearly the power of a 41Mag with 20rd loaded capacity (19+1 with the extended mag) or 15+1 with standard magazines. Its shootable, accurate and hits like a ton of bricks. Trajectory is flat out to about 100yds and it has more energy at 100yds than most 9mm loads have the muzzle.

Bow down before the Mighty 10mm!

^ Now see thats why Id have to pick the 1006 as I cannot recall anyone ever being bludgeoned to death with Tupperware.. 9+1 and can seriously pistol whip someone or be used as a Winch anchor, Boat Anchor, Dumb bells, etc. etc....
