How does Springfield's little milspec run?

I know there have been some reliability issues in downsizing the 1911, but the std milspec has a rep for running great.

i can't remember where but i've seen a couple of posts where owners were bitching about ejection ect.......

Extractin is the problem wih this gun. Usually about one in fifty rounds will not eject properly and create a jam. For me it is usually th last round in the mag. The gun does shoot fairly accuratly and recoil is minimal because it is so heavy.

i talked to a buddy today and he says he just got one and the only thing it will feed is Ball ammo.....no SWC or hollowpoints will work.....DICK
