Uma Thurman's gun in Kill Bill Vol. 2

What kind of nickel plated semi-auto was Uma Thurman wielding when she broke into David Carradine's home in Kill Bill Vol. 2?

I would assume it's the same as used by Samuel Jackson in Pulp Fiction. A nickel plated Star Model B 9mm.

It was either a 1911 or a Star B. Hard to tell as you don't get any good shots of it, but the sights and ejection port were kinda distinctive. I saw the movie twice already.

I remember it having a distinctive square trigger guard, but not totally squared, just a little bit then it rounds off.

What is Tarantino's penchant for Star Model B's?

Thats all I can find for now. It looks alittle strange to me. The trigger guard is deffinately squared off. Either the slide a long or the dust cover is short I don't know. It almost looks like it could be a CZ or clone there of. (almost)

OMG, never noticed it before, but she's got some huge hands for a chick. Those paws look freakishly large in the middle pic - not quite "man hands", as the fingers are a bit too skinny, but still... Dammit, she was sporting a very nice tummy in the movie, but now its ruined .

She is still quite lovely. Interesting choice of hardware. So let's see... in the first volume, she seeks out the finest legendary swordmaker to craft for her the ultimate blade. Then in the second she picks up a CZ clone?
Are we sure she isn't packing a custom CZ and that this is a TZ?
Disappointing.

Just like the movies.

I was thinking it might be a .22 Automag, too! But, I think the pictured gun is a little too big, the Automag was a pretty willowy piece around the muzzle.

if you look at the bottom picture the gun is so fuzzy that I don't think its an accurate picture of the muzzle (especially when you look at the picture above it where the open end of the barrel looks much larger.

That's what I thought, too. I never thought that much of her in her earlier films, everbody was ga-ga over her but I thought she was really overrated.

However, she looks... and acts... and wreaks havoc... very well in Kill Bill. I've got no idea what the gun is, though.
