Now days It’s hard to find anything about AR pistols unless they are braced. Let’s see and hear about your unbraced pistols.

This one is a dedicated 22lr. Upper is a DPMS Lo Pro with CMMG 4.5” barrel and bolt. Sight is a EOTech XPS2.
Lower is a Spikes Tactical with a CMC Tactical trigger.

I throw a buffer tube on it to use as a cheek rest when I want to shoot longer ranges. I use to keep a KAK Blade brace on it but found most of the time it never touched my shoulder. I still shoot some braced pistols but they approach rifle lengths.

I wish that I still had my OA-93.... Any of my OA93s!

After going through one for a customer and un-Olympicing it - his was such a fun and reliable toy that I got another on the cheap and tweaked it too. Then, I was offered too much for it so I got another and repeat and repeat two more times. Each *pistol* a little nicer than the last. Always thought I'd stumble on another cheap one but now it's been almost 20 years since seeing one *at a rate* and thereby irresistible.

Todd.

I love my little 4.5" barreled AR22. I used a CMMG dedicated bolt and barrel with a GunTec 4" handguard and Kak micro slim flash can to get everything past the end of the handguard.

I would love to make a similar one in 9mm. The bad thing is a buffer less 9mm setup isn't cheap.

Doesn’t someone make a shortened buffer system for 9mm AR’s?

The un-braced and stockless ARs certainly look badass; how are you feller shooting them?
I had a sling swivel mounted on the back of a CZ Scorpion (the original) which did help to steady it, but finally broke down and went Class III with it; much better alternative.
Apparently, BATF is considering new restrictions on braces. :(

I happen to be on the short side and a little heavy. I can bring my strong arm (grip arm) into my body and this makes for a fairly steady support. My weak side hand is holding the magazine port and supporting the handgard at the same time. I use this for offhand and bench shooting or whenever accuracy is required. Sometimes when I’m out plinking or with fast aquisition I don’t become so aware of my arms.

We tried shooting a late buddy's Shockwave shottie; we fired it from the hip at maybe 20 feet and discovered we could hit stuff after a fashion. (The low-recoil shotshells aren't .)
Remember where the muzzle is! ;)

I use a sling with my 22lr AR pistol and push out against the sling. It is a very effective method and is used by the British SAS with their MP5 pistols.

I actually shoot my Shockwave as intended by holding it out at arms length. I push forward with my off hand and pull back slightly with my shooting hand.
