Does anyone on THR want to come stay and practice at my private gun range? The neighbors are alcoholic and have been shooting at me (twice already). I have called the sheriffs office, and they tend not to come out, nor do anything if they do come out. My hearing is damaged due to their shooting AR pistols. I have contacted the ISP, and made a report with the FBI, and there is no response.

I can house and feed a few members if they would care to come out for some practice shooting.
Thank God for the way America used to be.

Be safe, everyone.

I've deleted the other threads, we don't need more than one on this topic.
You say you have contacted your sheriff's office and nothing has been done. I don't know what to recommend other than that. If you have already approached LEO about this problem, I think it is unwise to add a further variable of getting a visitor to come and shoot on your property.

Then I suggest you contact an attorney, get some video, and call the local police again.

Well if they don't witness anything, and you provide no evidence, what can they do other than ask the neighbors. When the neighbors deny shooting at you, what are the police to do. No probable cause, no evidence, no admission of guilt will all equal no action.

Exactly how close are you standing next to your alcoholic neighbors that shoot at you when they are firing these AR pistols? If they are shooting on their property, are you trespassing to be that close? Are you not wearing hearing protection?

If you think the FBI is going to do anything other than refer you to local law enforcement, you are wrong.

I take this to mean you intend to use the presence of armed THR members as a way of intimidating your neighbors into discontinuing their offensive behaviors. THR is not a recruiting center for vigilantes or militia members.

Collect some evidence in the form of video and bullet fragments on your property from them shooting at you, and file a lawsuit.

You may well have condemned me to my death.
I assume this thread to be a joke. I'm just missing the punchline I take it.

They are actually shooting at you? How close are they if they are damaging your hearing when they shoot these things?
Practice shooting at your range or at these neighbors? How is people other than you shooting vs you shooting at your range?

Pretty sure in Idaho if you fear for your life, you can defend yourself..

Are you Bi-polar or otherwise using any medications that control mood or mental function? I'm not intending to be rude or anything, I just think you should tell people up front if you have a history of instability. This whole premise sounds like someone is off their meds and posting all night.

Questions;

1. What does your neighbors being alcoholic have to do with anything? Shooting at you is illegal even if you are sober.

2. How do AR pistols make you deafer than AR rifles?

3. Do you have any proof of them shooting at you? Bullet impacts on your home, cars or property? Video? Did you know your cell phone can take pictures and actual live action with audio video.

4. Even in Idaho, counties have shooting ordinances. You should get a copy of your counties shooting laws from the deputy who arrives. I own a range in a county with very simple laws. 5 acre minimum and no shooting over or towards roads or residences.

5. Why would it be helpful for people to come shooting at your house? Seriously, why?
