OK I am obviously not searching right so I will ask here.

Anybody know were I can go on-line to find a number of different diagrams of the inner workings and hidden mechanisms of under hammer pistols and rifles?

Thanks a bunch! Just the sor tof thingI was looking for.

Only thing is now I gotta hope I can find $1500 laying by the road side. That Pacific Rifle 1837 is somehting.

Gosh knows what I would use it for, but it is neat.

Here is the Feinwerkbau #1 mechanism. The complete Feinwerkbau manual is in the Files at: http://tinyurl.com/3tt7jy

ZONED10X,

Thanks for the post I do not currently shoot under hammer guns of any type. Just wanted to know how they worked and as many different ways as possible.

While folks remember John Browning (father of John Moses Browning) for his harmonica guns, he appearently made quite a few underhammers, even after reaching Ogden Utah with the Pioneers. It is also rumored that he made a few unathorized copies of the Colt Walker and/or Dragoons, but appearently a few folks own what they claim to be Browning made underhammers.

I wondered what the elder John might have been working on between regular blacksmith chores while young John Moses was crawling around the shop.
