Is there a company that makes a revolver in .45LC that is break action (or break top, whatever you call it) and fires from the bottom chamber instead of the top (like most revovlers), preferably in stainless steel? The caliber is not as important as the break action/bottom firing. I'm sure there are some of you out there that can see what I'm getting at. I'd like to start a hobby of making guns that I've seen in tv/movies. :D

Probably the oddest question I have heard on this board. Not that thats a bad thing.

The answer to your question is no, I am pretty sure.

There are break open revolvers in .45 LC and one revolver I know of that fires from the bottom cyclinder but its not breakopen.

The gun you are thinking of was based on the Mateba revolver which fires fromt he bottom cylinder. Then the break open function was added to it.

You might want to look into airsoft for replicas.

Its been asked a lot. Use the search. Nobody makes a gun you can easily convert into a replica of Vash the Stampede's pistol from Trigun. Sorry.

Wait... there is a bottom-firing revolver that is chambered in .45LC? I looked up the Mateba's, and love the look of them. Especially this one (although in stainless with black rubber grips would be nicer):

Has anybody ever fired one of these? Hmm... maybe I'll post just about that...

Mateba Revolvers

CDNN has had some of these trying to clear them for some time...may still have some left.

FWIW

Just checked CDNN. Didn't see any. *shrug* It happens. However, GunBroker does have a few in .357mag. and .44mag. All of them are blued, though. I think I'd like to get a satin stainless one. Now... what caliber? .357, .44mag. or .454 casual? hehehe :D

Did you look at their catalog? You can down load it. $600 on page 12.

Hh. I just found out that .454 Casual is can fire .45LC rounds (although it generally results in you having to scrub the cylinder after your fun for the day). What kind of power difference am I looking at between the .357mag, .44mag., 454 casual, and .45LC (fired from .454 casual cylinder) rounds? I'm not as familiar with revolver rounds as I am with semi-auto rounds.
