While I perused the excellent online parts catalogue at the Taylor's & Co. website I found some bits and pieces there that I had been unable to access at either of the other two Uberti / Pietta / Pedersoli suppliers (VTI & Dixie ).
Everything that I purchased from them besides these items were either the same price or lower than the prior price leader Dixie. AND, they had everything I ordered -IN STOCK- .
The first item that came to my attention was a "hand" for use with the '51 & related Pietta Colts clones that is described as "Long" ,I'd never seen any alternative to the standard hand available so I ordered one for my spares collection because it seemed a better alternative than peening a standard length one to get some extra reach out of it.

The next thing that I found was a hand spring for an Uberti '58 Remmie.
It was listed under parts for a stainless model. We'll see whether it is of suitable guage and profile for use on a Pietta '58 hand after I receive my order.
I had to call and speak to someone to get part numbers for some pieces I wanted as spares for my Pietta accessory '51 shoulder stock, but they were able to provide me part numbers AND they had the extra length hammer screw and it's special barrel nut in stock so I ended up with three of each.
These are the parts that the shoulder stock hooks onto, and to use the stock with more than one gun I either needed spares or would have to remove/replace the special hammer screw among the different revolvers I might want to use the stock on.
They were also able to answer questions and provide replacement spares for the saddle ring and stud for that shoulder stock,
Something else that I learned from the representative while talking to him about my '51 shoulder stock is that it is suitable for use with a '58 Remmie reproduction. I haven't tried it yet but I questioned his assertion about it and he insisted that it was the case.
I also found and ordered some Pietta parts for a lanyard loop and stud for use on a '51 and related Colts.
Interesting finds all, and after I have received my order and checked all of the parts for suitability I will report back with part numbers for others to use.

Good evening
It is always heartwarming to encounter a helpful establishment that goes that extra mile to help. Sometimes it seems the quest for profits get in the way. Thanks for that info !
