It looks like you had a good time.

The last time I went I tried unsuccessfully for Bushpig. That's a nice trophy you got. Did you get it during the day and what was used for bait?

with the rand at over 14 to the one dollar, its a good time to go to africa. between the rand and friends i have been able to hunt africa four times and have never regeted the time or money to go. at 72 it may well be my last trip, but think of the memories i,ll have at the rest home. eastbank.

Very cool! Can you give us a run down on the rifles used for this trip?

howa .243, howa .300win, CZ .22lr, CZ .375H&H all gave no problems at all. public ranges are scarce and we sighted in at the ranches before the hunts. we drove into two drivers licenses check points, but had no problems at all with the rifles in the truck, they never ask about them. eastbank.

I think most people don't realize what they miss when it comes to hunting in south africa , if you do your homework and visit a few local gunsites you will be surprised just how cheap it can be to hunt here , buy a local farmers magazines and flip through the pages when you get here , the opportunities are endless
