What's your urban wear ITSHTF?

I see a lot of guys (especially back in the south) in macho tactical wear and honestly it just screams CCW. Nothing wrong with that, but times you don't want to advertise right?
If a Katrina happens (or the "Big One" comes) I want to be able to get out without getting pulled over, searched by PD or Nat Guard, or robbed for my goodies. Also don't want everyone to know i've got a supply of food, water and gear ripe for the taking.

Here's what I came up with.
Khaki BDU pants, no camo.
Wicking T-shirt and long sleeve in muted blue.
An oversized button up Orvis type fishing shirt. Same functionality as a BDU top, good non-cotton mix and loose fitting will cover a belt nicely.
Instead of high quality expensive Gore-Tex, a less expensive rain poncho. Can cover a pack, side bag, conceal belt knife etc. Plus the poncho honestly is more useful. I've made small shelters from them, can be used as rain catch or shade etc.
Regular hiking boots, not military.
Backpack and gear look like outdoors/ backpackers gear. Cover with a garbage bag and bungie cord.

Dirty the outer layer of gear up a bit, walk with a shuffle and mutter a lot, smell like urine and hold a bottle in a bag and you look like half the homeless in the area. Too extreme?

Other plan is easy, I'm on a local CERT team and have the hardhat, pack and jacket in my truck. Thinking about getting a large magnetic sign made I could put on the truck so local leo's will wave me right through. Can hide the sign and hat easily enough. Odd to think CERT or Red Cross might be a target but when people get hurt, hot and hungry they can get antsy (lessons from N.O.)

Any other idea's along the same vein?
