Can a Lyman #55 powder measure be mounted to a Lee Powder through Expander Die? I have looked and I have not seen any adapters or other tools to accomplish this.

Thanks

Called Lee today. They suggested getting the Lee Auto Riser. Since I do multiple turrets for different calibers, I think that I will just mount the Powder Measure on a stand.

I got to back up and ask a question.
Do you have a Lee or a Lyman thru the die?

to a Lyman Powder through Expander Die

If you have a Lyman Powder thru the expander die, the Lyman powder measure will screw right in the top.

If you have a Lee powder thru die, then I don't know.

Nope, Lee dies, Lyman Powder Measure. I am going to get a new Lee Perfect Powder measure which comes with a stand.

Thanks

Do you have a lathe or a friend who has one? An adapter could be make fairly easy. What is the inside diameter and threads of the top hole in the Lee die?

Jim,
thanks for the suggestion, but it sounds like more trouble than it is worth for the number of rounds that I normally reload. I just had the LGS order a Lee Perfect Powder Measure for me and it comes with a stand.

Two reasons:

1. They want $25-$28 for stand.
2. I find the vernier calibrations on my Lyman measure to be difficult to set up. So I will set it once for my 44 Mag loads, and use the new Lee measure for other loads.

thanks for your suggestions

The Lee Pro Auto Disk will mount and dismount from a die in about 30 seconds. No need to desk mount just because you have multiple turrets.
