I'm not sure if I like the v-notch sight on my Mark III Hunter.
It works well for quick shooting. And I've had tight groups in good light. But in the dim light of my indoor range, or dusk, it is harder for me to be consistent with alignment, especially with elevation. I'm using a FO front sight.
Here's an offhand target of 10-rounds at 10 yards, relatively quick fire. About 2.6 inches including the flyer. It's not dismal, but I know I can do better because I could tell I was inexact with sight alignment.
I was thinking about switching to a more traditional square rear blade, or am I missing a benefit of the v-notch?
