Valentine's day at the gun range.

A new indoor gun range opened up not too far from me late last year. I've been meaning to check it out, but I do all my shooting on state land a few minutes from my house.

But for Valentines day, my wife got a package deal on GroupOn for an hour of range time, two gun rentals, and a box of 9mm (or $10 credit toward other ammo) for $38.

This is also a .50 BMG rated range, so it could be interesting.

My wife tolerates my gun habit, and even though she hunts, hasn't shown much interest in going to the range aside from the one range date we had years ago.

Anyone else doing a Valentines day date at the range?

The mrs's and I have in the past, always a great time. Going to ask now if that's on our schedule this year too!

I like the idea on the show Bones to shoot Thompsons at the range. If only I had the money to afford it.

I think heading to the range for a bit on vday is a great idea. Wont happen this year.... baby on the way and no way to put plugs on a belly lol. Maybe next year .
