value of model 10-6/10-10 S&W

Believe it or not it took me until today to finally buy one of these model 10s. For three months I've been walking by these in the case at the range. They started with ten of these DOC model 10s and were down to three. I kept telling myself I didn't need one but today I decided wanting one was a good enough reason. They had two 10-14 and one 10-10. I bought the 10-10 that came with a holster and two speed loaders for $300. Although the finish wasn't as good on the one I bought I liked the pre lock aspect of an older gun. I shot 50 rounds through the gun today and it was a pleasure to shoot.

Nice kit. Out of curiosity, was 300 before tax/title/dealer prep/tire rotation or was 300 the “out the door” price?

Is 1988-96 about right manufacture years for the model 10-10? Before mim parts?
