Value of S&W 547

Guys, I've sorta lost interest in my S&W 547, 4" SB. It's about 95%, standard Magna's, no box or papers. What should I ask for it, reckon? There are none for sale on AuctionArms or Gunbroker, either.

Those are pretty scarce puppies....I think the last one I saw for sale had a NIB price tag approaching $700. Don't know if it actually sold for that though. If you use a on-line auction site, start your bidding at $500 and see what happens.

My Bluebook says $240 for the 95% Model 547 M&P. NEW(100%) $295. That seems a little low for my area. I believe the new Bluebook comes out next month, so it might be slightly higher.

BLUE BOOK Blues

NEVER takes into account buyer's frenzy, or, just plain lack of data.
Examples: Colt .22 Diamond with 2 1/2" Brl. ADD 30% for brl which would make a nice one around 8 to 900. TRY $1,800 on the open market. S&W 1950 .44SPECIAL target 4 inch. Real world over twice book...in 5 inch FOUR times.
