I own two Springfield Armory 1911A1s (45 ACP). I have no idea what either of them is worth. So I am seeking advice here. These pistols are virtually unfired - maybe 50 rounds total through the two of them about 15 years ago. They are in perfect condition - not the slighest mark on either of them. I have the Springfield Armory hard cases, manuals, and the magazines for each.
One is parkerized and the other is blued.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Easy, the Springfield GI is worth about $400 whereas the Springfield Professional model is worth somewhere in excess of $2000. The rest of the models are somewhere in between those.

Which models do you have.

Thanks Maelstrom. These two pistols are both about 15 years old, so I'm not sure of the answer to your question. On the original boxes, they are marked "standard" - not sure how that translates to today.

There should be some type of descriptor, or model number, or something.

Go ahead and post pictures and that will go a long way towards IDing them also.

The older Springfield pistols usually sell for around $350-500 on the used market if they are still decent shooters and are unmolested.

I once saw a used Springfield Trophy Match sell for around $750. It was about 8-10 years old at the time.
