I'm thinking about getting rid of my only AK variant. I have a M10-762 with about 90 rds through it, 14 mags (13 are steel, (Poland / Russia?) surplus; 12 are still in unopened), and an unopened 640 rd Tula can. Also about 150 rds in boxes.

What is a fair price to ask for this. I just moved to a new house and could you the extra cash. I don't want to gouge anyone, but I also think the time might be right to sell. Oh, I also have a Tapco AK T6 collapsible stock to include (NIB).

Opinions?

I couldn't help you with the rifle as im new to AK's but if its a fair price id be interested in 2 Russian mags and possibly the ammo. PM me if you come up with anything.

Given the current selling "climate", you might be better served by piecing it out, at least the mags and ammo anyway. They are going for some crazy (compared to pre-paranoia, anyway) prices. Im not familiar with the exact model AK, but I'd be very surprised to see it come in anywhere south of $500 (but if its a more highly regarded model, it could go for twice that!).

You could probably get in the $150-$200 range for the tin of ammo, and something in the ballpark of $6-$7 for each of the 20rnd boxes. As for the mags, somewhere in the ballpark of $20/per if you sell them individually, or $15/per if you sell them in one or two "lots" (based on current Gunbroker prices).

Gun: $850-$900, Ammo: $250, Mags: $25-$30.

You need money to pay the bills, and you must look out for your own interests. You might think that you're doing someone a favor for selling it off at a low price but if you don't get all you can out of it, then someone will just buy it, turn around, and sell it and make the money that you didn't.

Nobody is going to get evicted or have their heat turned off because they don't have an AK. There is no gouging here, your item has simply become more valuable than it was when you bought it. Period.
