Very disappointed in Hornady today

I called to ask a question about my press and their automated phone tree is no longer entertaining. It used to be quite funny. I thought that after a few months of this ammo crises they would have switched their serious one back to one that is a little more what we are used to with them.
 
Been that way for a while. Someone else posted the same a few months ago. Sad indeed.
 
It doesn't mean you can't still stand on one foot and jump up and down and yell, "I hate answering machines"...........

I liked their own one, too.

I've been disappointed with Hornady for years. Purged everything Hornady from my bench. Just be aware it won't get any better so don't get your hopes up.
 
Heck when I was really bored and really had nothing to do I would call just for the heck of it:D Not really, but the Women was really funny and it was clever.

If you called all bent out off shape about something that broke you couldn't help but feel better, I thought it was great.

If you are one of those clairvoyant individuals who know what extension to press do so now.

Something like that was one of them. I tried a Google search the last thread on this and could not find the whole thing.
 
You know I did look into Dillon and from what I can see, I would have to pay almost 1500 bucks to get an automatic indexing press.

I really am quite happy with my Hornady stuff, it's just a bummer that there are so many cranky people out there that they had change their a answering message.

I am quite impressed that they are offering to sell me a press at less than 1/2 price, when legally they don't have to do any thing for me. I am sure Dillon has excellent CS as well. Many people on this forum have expressed their happiness with it.
 
I've not had any problems with emailing their Tech Support. I've never tried to call them so I can't help you there. Around the holidays, I'd cut most places a lot of slack as I'm not the only one on vacation ;-)
 
farmerbuck - My disappointment was with their dies products, bullets and customer service. Not going to do Hornady bashing, just sharing experience.

I didn't get a machine voice when I called them. I didn't get any satisfaction either. They just blew me off. Can't keep customers when they won't stand behind their products.

Counterpoint: I added a bunch of Hornady stuff to my bench in the last two years and what little I needed in the way of customer service was top notch.
