Well my new in the box 1300 saga is over....after having it sent back to Winchester for factory repair.....it came back to my Gunbroker dealer EXACTLY the same...the vent rib on the barrel cockeyed by about 4 degrees.
It's as if they didn't even look at it....it was so obvious to see! And it only took 14 weeks!
can you say LAME!!!!!!
I'm amazed that this once icon of American firearms has fallen to such a pathetic level of quality & service.
It appears that FN has no committment to the civilian market at all.....
My guess is that it is part and parcel of their "good European socialist" mentality.....only the government can be entrusted with such dangerous things as guns.
So I received a "full refund" of the purchase price....but am out the return shipping and FFL cost.
Fooled me once.......shame on you....
I'll be sure not to be fooled again.
