Seems as though they put an overly tall front sight on the LCR22s. It appears I need to look down the backstrap keeping it flat to hit dead on, otherwise lining up the sights gets it hitting five inches low. I guess that's why they don't recommended the tritium sight for the. 38 of. 357 be used. I've encountered this on my NAA mini too.

So what would be the point of a taller than needed front blade?

I ran into this issue with my lcr 357. Turns out I was aligning the sights flush on top (like a normal pistols) and that lead to me shooting way low. After I painted the front sight red (the area with lines/teeth only) and bought the front sight up (top of the front sight was higher then the rear sights) it shoots on.

I don't know if that could be the issue but if it has similar sights as the 357 I bet your doing the same thing I was :)

Bringing the front sight up above the rear sight will definitely make it shoot higher.

Makes it a LOT slower to acquire a repeatable sight picture, though.

I align the top of the red (highest tooth on front blade) with the rear sight, and put the top of the front post right in the middle of where I want the round to hit. Works fine and is just as fast to acquire as the sights on the rest of my guns.

If you look at the big dot sight offered for the lcr, the whole dot sits between/above the very short rear trough sight (this is with the dot sitting right on the barrel) After seeing that made me realize that the front sight on the .357 was not ment to be buried in the rear trough. Not to mention the pistol doesn't naturally point well when you drop the front sight way down. The only way to get the lcr .357 that I have to shoot dead on is use the sight alighnment I mentioned. Otherwise it shoots 4 to 5 inches low within 30 feet. Ammo didnt make any difference.
