I've got Weaver, Vortex, and Leopold, granted the Leopold isn't the most expensive scope I've got, but I really can't tell the difference between the 3, all seem to be very bright with different degrees of light. BTW I'm an average size guy 5'10" and 175#s. Also when mounted properly never had a problem with eye relief.
