First time using it & it seems to stick to my scale pans. H335 didn't do this.

Thought maybe there was some oil from my fingers or something on them so I cleaned them with alcohol & it didn't help.

Have them in the tumbler now with some VF walnut treated with a squirt of car polish.

Hopefully that will fix it. If not, is there something else I should try?

It does meter through the Hornady LNL auto charge scale and dispenser much better. Every one has been "dead nuts" with the bean scale & I usually have to trickle a little on the beam scale with H335 to get dead on.

Flake powders and flattened ball powders commonly used in pistol applications can be "sticky" compared to ball and stick powders used in rifle calibers.

Static can cause powder to stick badly. Static guard can get rid of it. Grounding the measure is said to work. (Never tried it.)

That's why I don't use it. Sticks to everything. I use Unique instead. It's a larger flake powder. Easy to clean up, the burn rate is about the same, and it's easier to handle. I use a second scale pan to "tap, tap" the flakes onto the first pan. I'm to the point were I can count the fakes and give a perfect "tap" to increase the weight 0.1 at will.

It's not the powder, it's the dry winter air.
You have a static cling problem.

Wash the scale pan with rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball or tissue.

Rub with a used dryer sheet.

Or spray very lightly with Static Guard laundry spray.

Static cling -- that will do it. This time of year I am wipping down everything around the press with a used dryer sheet. And as RCMODEL said, the spray is handy to have.

Same thing here, Tried 231 today and it clings to the pan. I just give it a tap on the funnel when charging my cases and goes in without much issue. Very good powder for 38 spcl

I was loading some 45 ACP yesterday & had the same problem with HP38 powder sticking
till I used a dryer sheet which works great & its quick.Works for me

Maybe it can be related to climate, I just got finished with HP-38 and it's fine.

Power Pistol stuck to my hopper and pan today but that is normal for me.

Some powders are a bit sticky even with no static, but W-231 is not one of them. It flows really well, and comes out of the measure easily when finished.

Noticed a bit of same thing this last month when temps started hitting the 20s with HP-38. Just notice it with some plastics. Already figured it was static.
