What caught my eye as I read this is the intruder died from "multiple gunshot wounds". My first thought is how did the homeowner stay below the imaginary threshold of firing the perfect number of rounds to stop the threat and no more. Well, the prosecutor (Roe) summed it up nicely: "Roe says the number of shots fired has no bearing on whether a homicide was justifiable."

Sounds right to me. Think about the 2 NYC cops that fired 80 rounds at a guy that shot at them...the NYC PD stated "he just would not go down"...by the way, the guy in NYC lived.
