But that would screw the anonymity factor. Remember that in CT, the CLEO and the DPS (in addition to the buyer and seller) each get a copy of the DPS-3 which record the gun, buyer's, and seller's information on it.

Gladly spend a few more bucks at the local gunshop than give it to wal-mart. If just to help the gunshops stay in business. Ever seen a Wilson, Cooper, HK at Wally World.....Even an employee in Sporting goods with half an idea what they are talking about? Me neither! I'll give my hard earned cash to folks that share the same values I do.

Same here, but my local gun shop rips you off on everything. $7.50 an hour (no memberships available) for a 25-yard indoor range, jeez...:banghead:

Wal-mart offers Winchester White Box (9mm) for $12.88 per 100, my local gunshop sells the same product (same quantity) for $16.99.

what's wrong with buy back ?

I have made hundred'a over the years to buy bigger and better GUNS.
I over the years have collected many useless nonfiring junk guns I will never throw one away or let someone else. Some even given to me because they don't work.
I have bought many guns for as little as $25.00 and turned them in for a $100.00 many many times, seems to be a good investment. I will while at flea markets gun shows always pick up a gun for little money and turn it in.

The hardest part was getting the people usually someone from the Sheriff's Department to give a reciept, I always demand one and they after awhile will give one up. Also get a name a Badge number.

Just my opinion.
