Some of the non CA people though seem to be getting 100rd packs of jhp that we don't seem to have though. I have only seen recently 50 rds of WWB 230gr 45acp jhp at $17 and change.

And how about those lucky people who have access to 3.86 9x19 blazer! I forget which chain that is.

Not to hijack the thread, but what are people paying for the 550rd bricks of Fed 22lr hollowpoints? I'm seeing 8.96 and I noticed the Federal packaging design has changed as of late.

But, you can get 50 round white boxes of 9mm for less than $5 each at Academy. Buy 2 boxes = 100 rounds, for less than the wal-mart price.

I want to say the 9mm fmj is $10.xx, and the 147gr JHP is $11.xx here

.45ACP 230gr FMJ is like $18.xx iirc

The Win 500 rd lead boxes used to be a buck cheaper, but I don't see them anymore and the truncated lead gave my guns feeding fits.

They also have the 50 rd boxes and for some strange reason, I find them more accurate than the 100 rd 9x19. It is individually packed in a tray though and in older producton, had a real copper coat and not a brass colored jacket like the bulk pack.

yeah academy- 3.86 for 9mm, 8.86 for 38spl.

They now have these big 250 round Remington value packs in yellow boxes, but didnt seem to be as cheap as WWB.

I just came in from errand running and stopped at Wal-Mart in Hanford, Ka.

I bought the Win white box .45 ACP 230 FMJ value pack, 100 rds. for $19.97. This is the USA45AVP loading for target range. Gonna checkout my new Ballester-Molina.

Then a box of 100 rds.(green box) Remington Value pack .38 special +p 125 gr. semi-JKTDHollow point (L38S2B) for $19.93. The Win white box .38's were $19.97 so I went for the cheap stuff.

Now it's off to see my pusher for some Wilson mags, speedloaders and more ammo. Maybe a .357 Marlin if he has one laying around. I get once fired .45 ACP reloads from him for $89 bx. of 500.
