Picked up a P22 for my 9 year old to start shooting. Cute little gun, fits his hands great, and plenty accurate for his current needs. I think the trigger is a bit stiff, but very manageable for an adult. My son is having dificulty smoothly and easily pulling the trigger. Any thing I can do to lighten the trigger pull?

Thanks for all insights and opinions!

Trigger?

I had the same problem with one I bought for my wife. I sent it back
to the factory, they returned it with a short note indicating that they
couldn't find any problem with the trigger pull. However, after they sent
it back it was a different trigger pull entirely.. They fixed whatever the
problem was, but wouldn't say that there was ever a problem to start
with. Whatever, it didn't cost me anything but the postage to get it
there and it now works fine. I'd say it was a reasonable deal.....

The P22 is interesting like that. The Trigger pull was too tough even with the hammer back? I never really noticed it being tough in anything but DA. Get your kid a hand-vise to strengthen his fingers, because I don't think anyone offers a lighter spring for the P22 and there's nothing in the P22 Bible about lightening it.
