Managed to locate one of these relatively hard to find P22s. In Flat Dark Earth, it was the color I was going for, . . . mostly because I wanted to put together a [sort of] poor man's FNP-45 Tactical. Plan on taking it to the range today.

Took this to the range on Sunday. Only managed to shoot 80 rounds, but they were all trouble free rounds. Accuracy was excellent. So far, this has been one of my most favorite buys in a long time! :)

Thanks! I will usually be running CCI Minimags in my gun, but may try out some Winchester M-22 soon.

The Mini-Mags seem to work consistently well in the P22s, and not all ammo does. The more potent the round, the better these things do, it seems.

Yeah, that seems to be the case with this gun. It may cost a bit more to run the better ammo, but I'm fine with that.

This is my second P22. I bought my first several years ago and never could get good groupings with it. May not have been the gun. I was a new shooter, so my groupings were rather large. This past Sunday, my groups [only shot at 7 yards] were a couple of inch spread with a hole about the size of a nickle torn out in the middle with a 20 round group. I'm going to try to get to the range again this weekend and want to get tighter groups. So far, . . . love it! :)

That's all good to hear. Not all of the P22s perform as well, and some don't perform well at all. :) If you get a good one, and tend after it via the P22 Bible, and run decent ammo through it, then it possible to get some everyday range enjoyment out the things ... and there's nothing wrong with that.

I plan on running another 100 or two this weekend through it. I may have to check out a walther forum to see what the general luck is with this gun. I hope my experiences continue to be positive. Just purchased another 600 Mini Mags today!

I like the unique. Doesn't always work out that way, but this time, I was a bit lucky . . . and fortunate that it shoots so well. I'm looking forward to shooting it more. I want to try to get the groups a bit tighter, . . . .though at the moment, I am quite happy with the groups now, but there is always room for improvement.

Went to the range and shot another 200 rounds, yesterday. I think that, with a bit more practice, this P22 could give my very accurate MarkII Government Target Model a run for its money. Not as accurate, though, but I could get close.

No real failures other than one round that didn't chamber after the first round in a magazine. It is one of my best purchases in a long time!
