I purchased a S&W ppk/s from Dixie Ammo Dump last week for a great price. Previous use had consisted of 2 mags of ammo. It still had hang tag string on it.
Dixie Dump also included about 15 Hollow PT's and about 40 Blazer FMJ. I had on hand some Prvi and Lellier & Belloit (sic maybe). In all, I shot 250 rounds through this little marvel in about an hour.
1. The gun is extremely accurate. For sure the easiest to aim 380 I own and I own 4 (bersa thunder, LCP, and a CZ52). Recoil is about what you should expect from a 380 - not bad. After all ammo was gone, I had a slight skin rub above the center of the webbing between my thumb and forefinger. No 'bites' whatsoever. I was shocked. This version of the gun is not supposed to 'rock' like this. But it ROCKS!. It 'could' replace my Kahr PM9 as my primary carry pistol. It ate ammo like it had not eaten in years. I got the thing boiling hot and fired it as fast as i could. I fired it for precision, and it was precise. I think I got a great deal. So if you want a great deal, give DIXIE AMMO DUMP a call. They just might have something for you. I'm not affiliated with them. But they sold me a winner! I did have one instance of the gun not chambering a round, but it was my first mag and I didn't get it locked. I remember reading now that it can happen if you're not paying attention. And I was more interested in getting shooting than listening to clicks. I've got 3 Smith and Wesson's and they are all great!
Just to Karma the above rave, both my Tauruses have had to go back to the shop. One is back and in perfect working order, I assume the
other will too (sloppy screw tightening at the factory).
Sorry to put a review in here, but my Smith/Walther is sweet.
