I went gun shopping today, and bought a pistol I had never thought of buying did'nt even look at them online. It was a Walther PPQ fit hand like a glove best trigger of any pistol I tried love it

I'm happy you found something you like, your lucky since you didn't try one ahead of time so you'd know what your buying.

A PPQ is a really good feeling in my hand also. I have felt better triggers though but yours will break in and get even smoother. I have shot them before and thought a lot of them. Before the last election I would see them in my LGS but haven't seen them since.

Good luck with it.

Congrats on your new gun!

You made a good choice, I picked up an M1 version a few weeks ago and I love it! I ended up using it in an IDPA match last week and it did very well for me, it's a keeper.

Mine...

I got a PPQ a while back, in .40 S&W. I have to send it in for a checkup because from time to time it goes full-auto for 2-3 rounds. I have read about a few instances of others doing the same thing. Otherwise, I really like the gun. Once it's fixed and back, I'll like it even more.

I have both the P99As and PPQM1 in 9mm, and for me the AS overall edges out my PPQ in "shootability" simply due to that really short trigger reset on the PPQ; that could be rectified with more range time, but time and finances combine to curtail my shooting a bit.

But I love the fit/feel of the Walthers; like you, they fit my hands "like a glove."

Good pick, have (safe!) fun with it.

I can pull the trigger so fast sometimes it almost looks full auto. Next Friday I'm really gonna ring it out, I got 300 rounds to burn

I agree that the P99AS edges out the PPQ in shootability (the single-action trigger of the P99AS is slightly lighter and smoother than the PPQ's (also excellent) trigger.

But I have found the reset of both pistols to be exactly the same, which is to say crazy short and extremely crisp.
