Reliable: Yes. 1000+ rounds of mixed ammo plus plenty of dry-firing. Not a single malfunction.
Ergomics: Great if you have small hands like me. Possibly not-so-great if your mits are larger. Great mag release for small hands too. Textured grip is like Loctite for your hand.
Recoil: Snappy due to size, but very controllable due to low bore axis & ergos. Easy to get back on target very fast. Much more controllable than a CZ RAMI (which is almost identical in size (excepting width) and heavier).
Accuracy: Excellent. That's speaking for everything but the trigger.
Trigger: Horrible. Which means you probably won't see the excellent accuracy this gun is capable of during rapid fire without a lot of practice.
Weight: Heavy for a polymer handgun this size. Not heavy at all compared to non-polymer guns this size. Just right for me.
Finish: Durable. Can barely tell this is my EDC (give it time).
Sights: Functional. Front post is way too thin, however. Aftermarket sights recommended but not required.
Maintenance: Think Glock.
Cost: Great value excepting overpriced magazines.
Summary: As it is the PPS M2 is one heck of a great firearm. If they'd fix that nasty, heavy, heinous trigger it would be phenomenal. Mechanically it's a tack-driver, but the trigger makes it really hard to extract the accuracy the gun's capable of. At the moment, I'd recommend it to people with small hands and strong fingers! Hopefully Walther gets around to fixing that trigger. It's really the only thing I can find fault with here.
