I m looking at getting a 9mm for IWB concealment and have almost decided on the PPS.
I was wondering though about the finish on the PPS. Does it have a good resistance aginst rust? I have heard it has a low maintenance finish....opinions?
I was also wondering about Walthers warranty as well as their customers service. Now that S&M is involved.....are things better? Any info is appreciated....Thnks in advance!!

My finish has a few scratches and what not, but its a carry gun. I wipe it down once a week and it is fine. Smith and Wesson has the best customer service in the industry as far as I'm concerned. I wanted an extra small backstrap and they had it at my house in 2 days at no cost to me. I absolutely love my PPS.

I feel the same way about my PPS. I find the gun to be 100% reliable, excellently sized, and extremely accurate, in fact amazingly so.

Question. You talk refer to an "extra small backstrap". I am only familiar with the two backstraps that came with mine. Is there a third size available?

I'd like one, however, I can not find one around my parts... SE Michigan

Have the PPS in both 40 and 9, both excellent guns. Surprisingly the 40 is almost indistinguishable from the 9 in recoil, muzzle flip etc..
