Wanting a Sig 22.....

I've got an X5 Comp, and now looking for a 22 for NRA target shooting. I really like the Sig's, style and build so if at possible would just like to buy another Sig, but, I hear so many good things about the BBuckMark and the Ruger 22/45 as related to accuracy. Does anyone have any specific experience with the Sig Mosquito along with the BBM and the R22/45's?

No, I just got the SIG .22 conversion kit for my 229. Same frame and trigger so great practice.

Have you done a search yet on the Sig bug?

From what I remember they are not the most reliable. Might check out http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php for some good info.

Personally I've had great experiences with the S&W 22A and 22S.

Does anyone have any specific experience with the Sig Mosquito along with the BBM and the R22/45's?

I have a 22/45 & the wife has the Mosquito. I like the 22/45, she does not. She LOVES her Mozzie, I think it's "OK."

Her Mozzie is 100% reliable with MiniMags and all 5 of the genuine SIG METAL magazines we got for it. It also gets cleaned & lubed after every range session.

I shoot the 22/45 WAY better than the Mosquito. The Mozzie is just too small for my hands, I think. The wife is pretty accurate with it. IMO the Mozzie trigger is about as bad as it gets. The wife doean't mind.

The Mozzie is a breeze to clean. The 22/45... well... Google it.
