My Dad gave me a 20 ga O/U, but I can’t seem to read the markings well enough to figure out the maker.

It has a wide vent rib with center venting on the 26” barrels, fixed chokes, glossy “bowling pin” type finish, cut checkering and what looks like machined engraving on the receiver.

On the left side of the upper barrel the importer looks like AMPT Miami, Fl. The model looks like 2723.

On the right side of the upper barrel it looks like It says “Armi Ceremicho Marcheno Italy” and 20 ga 26 FM.

I don’t think this is a very high end gun, has anyone ever seen or used one of these shotguns?

Thanks!

Stay safe.

Thanks for the tips, I think I found the maker on Guns International:

Armi Cecuiche, Marcheui, Italy.

Armsport imported these shotguns in 12 and 20 ga. Looks like they were discontinued in 1985.

Probably 12 and 20 gauges.
As you surmised, they are not very good quality guns. I'll bet it has a single extractor between the barrels that pulls both fired & unfired shells up. Probably single unselective trigger, bottom barrel first, inertia action. They are guns made for the guy who pulls it out once a year for a pheasant hunt with the guys, maybe a round of clays a year.
Keep it for a loaner.

It has ejectors/extractors for each barrel and a single trigger. I don’t know if its selective or not but you’re right about it being a lower end Italian gun. Looks pretty good but it’s no Perazzi!

Stay safe.

Are you sure that are ejectors, not just extractors? You'll have to pull the the trigger once then open it to find out. (Without firing it, that is.) This will also verify which barrel is first if non selective. The barrel that fired will have the ejector out farther than the one that didn't, which will be at extract length.
If there is a selector, it is usually on the safety, the safety will sided to each side to select, and there might be an 'O' or 'U' visible show ing which barrel is selected. Some selectors are on or behind the trigger, though I didn't see either in the pics. A non selective safety will only slide straight forward and back.
Enjoy, and like Twocanary says, a gun from one's Dad is always priceless.

If you like how it mounts and fits, and it patterns good, It's probably a good shooter.
