Does anyone know what is done with the fingerprints taken when applying for a Concealed Handgun License in Washington State?
Do they just run your prints against a fingerprints database to verify you're not a felon, have any open warrants, etc., then just file them away?
OR
Do they also then ADD your prints to the fingerprints database (as a CHL holder) so your prints now also are part of the database law enforcement searches for matches in crime investigations???
I have absolutely nothing to hide and have a spotless record but always try to stay low on the radar ... I just don't trust large bureaucracies and their "mistakes" or "good intentions"...
Thanks!
