This is an open letter that was written by a sophomore at Cactus Shadows High School in Scottsdale, AZ. If you ask me this kid has the right idea, too bad there aren't more kids AND adults with a little common sense.

What I will never understand, and am yet to have someone explain, is the reasoning behind the idea of not allowing CCW permit holders to carry on school campuses. If it is safe enough for the them to carry at a day care center, a theater, a restaurant, a library, etc... Why is it suddenly not safe to carry when you come to a school campus. Hopefully we'll see more changes in this assinine law down the road.

Sounds like he has very collective thoughts on Gun Control! Great essay. I am wondering if he has looked into the NRA YES Program?

I scared a bunch of classmates after explaining to them how poorly thought out my high school's lockdown procedure was. Basically, they lined us up against the wall opposite of the door. F$%^ that.

We all agree on this topic and the youngman is very correct. But why is it that in todays society the Socalists idiots seem to be getting elected to office and seem to be sitting in the Judges seat.

I am a very optimistic person in general but I don't believe that gun control will be an issue before long. I really believe that the economy is going to implode and it will be another depression or a situation alot like it and this country will explode because of it in the near future. History will generally repeat itself.

I'm posting this at my school. I don't care if they kick me out for liking guns AGAIN, this is going up. A couple months ago there was some guy trying to carjack people outside our school, with a gun, and what they did was make us stay in the most open room (library) until an hour after the bell rang. **** that. Looking back, I realize I should have just walked off campus and KO'd any authorities that tried to say I was safe in the shooting gallery. I've since found out that at least three off my teachers have handguns and training, and they could've easily prevented any deaths if he had decided to come in. Damn right we should allow CCW in schools. Hell, there should be a citizenship bonus for well-armed students. Clinton, if you were here now, I'd punch you in the nuts. Disarm you the way you disarmed us. And do you know what the cops were doing? Directing traffic outside. I even saw the lead SRO of our county, swinging around a light stick in front of school. Same guy who helped a tyrannical principal kick me out for drawing a revolver on a paper by having his peons drag me to the sherriffs' department against my will without any warrant. Goddamn Fascists.
