At least on a day when I didn't have anything I just had to do. #1 grandson and I had planned a range trip for early this morning and conditions were so away we went, him to sight in an AR with a new barrel and me to finally shoot the 22 TCM I traded for. Things did not go well with either rifle.

I will skip the AR problem but it should be a simple fix so on to the TCM. Um, nothing good I am afraid. I got 2 rounds to fire out of eight tries. No firing pin mark at all on two and faint marks on the others. When I first got the rife it was literally oozing oil everywhere. I thought I had throughly cleaned it but when I pulled the bolt it was again very oily. This is thick oil. I gave up, came home, and after lunch sprayed it out repeatedly with brake cleaner and then blew it out with compressed air. Is it a fix? Don't know but it worked with one other rifle so I will see.

On one hand it isn't a loud round and the recoil is barely felt. On the other hand if you aren't first cousin to Hulk Hogan or Randy Coture you should consider getting a pet gorilla to load that little 5 round magazine and lift the bolt for you after a shot. The mag spring could easily power a 15 round mag and a cheater pipe would be a help with the bolt. No fast second shots with this thing---if you can get it to fire. It has by far the hardest to lift bolt of any rifle I have ever owned.
